Integrated i-Scan technology optimizes the visualization of mucosal surfaces and blood vessels through digital image processing. Three different algorithms are available for this purpose:

SE (Surface Enhancement) for highlighting fine surface structures
CE (Contrast Enhancement) for improved contrast
TE (Tone Enhancement) for targeted optimization of tissue colors

Switching between the various i-Scan modes and the white-light image occurs in real time, enabling a detailed analysis of tissue structures.
